Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)
The TPO supports on-going bicycle and pedestrian planning activities through open, timely, and meaningful public involvement. The TPO provides staff support to the Saint Lucie County Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) and works with relevant transportation agencies and organizations to prioritize, fund and implement safe pedestrian, bicycle, green-way and shared-use pathway projects.
There are twelve (9) voting members on the BPAC: (2) Resident Bicycling Representatives, (1) St. Lucie County Parks and Recreation Director (1) City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Director, (1) City of Fort Pierce Public Works Director, (1) St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Director, (1) FDOT District 4 Bicycle/Pedestrian Coordinator, (1) Resident Running/Hiking Representative and (1) St. Lucie County School District PTA Representative.
