DESCRIPTION:As part of the federal certification process every four years\, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will conduct a public meeting to gather opinions and comments on the metropolitan transportation planning process of the St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization (TPO). \nPurpose and Format of Meeting\nThe purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to express their thoughts and comments about the transportation planning process; to allow the Federal Review Team to obtain a better understanding of the community’s issues; and to inform the public about the Federal transportation planning requirements. The format of the meeting consists of two components: 1) a brief presentation by FHWA Florida Division staff and 2) an open forum to receive public comments. \nDownload Flyer | Download Comment Form \nThe St. Lucie TPO satisfies the requirements of various nondiscrimination laws and regulations including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Public participation is welcomed without regard to race\, color\, national origin\, age\, sex\, religion\, disability\, income\, or family status.
