Traffic Count Study

 

The TPO conducted a study to review the current traffic count practices used by the TPO and County to record the number of vehicles using the roadway. The study  evaluated the current traffic count locations, the frequency of counts, and the reporting procedures. The study provided recommendations for quality control of the count data and developed data reporting system requirements to manage the historical database of count data.
