The workshop is intended to present the alternatives that have been developed to meet the project need; provide an opportunity to discuss the social, environmental, and economic effects of the various alternatives; and obtain input from local officials, agencies and stakeholders. FDOT and consultant staff will be available at the workshop to discuss the project and answer questions.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the need to provide additional capacity to meet existing and future needs; to allow opportunities for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit facilities; to improve freight movement; and to enhance emergency evacuation.
