The St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is seeking public comment on its draft Title VI Program that addresses how the TPO achieves nondiscrimination in its plans, programs, and activities. The TPO is committed to ensure that no person shall, on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, family or religious status, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related laws, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination or retaliation under any program or activity undertaken by the TPO.
The public has until 1:00 pm, October 25, 2023, to provide comments on the Title VI Program before it is reviewed for adoption by the TPO Board.
